Recipients Each year the Hollywood Inter-Faith Choir Festival donates a substantial gift to an organization in the Hollywood area. This decision is based on their service to the community and financial need.This year we are proud to announce our recipient will be... The Harmony Project is a non-profit organization established in April of 2001 with a vision of serving the cultural and artistic needs of underprivileged children in the Los Angeles area. Their mission is to promote the healthy growth and development of children through the study, practice and performance of music through private and group orchestral instrument instruction, music theory, choral singing, recital performances and regular field trips to live events. Instruction is offered by qualified teachers and musicians, as well as all musical instruments, are provided to each child at no cost to the child or their family, based upon family income. |
